Schavemaker Logistics Beverwijk is an experienced service provider specialising in steel-related logistics. Our facilities on the Zuiderkade in Beverwijk, directly on the North Sea Canal, offer a complete package — from receipt and inventory management to dispatch and seaworthy container loading.
Our waterside location makes the connection to inland waterway transport a natural fit. Via our own 180-metre quay we link steel logistics with sustainable transport over water, reducing road kilometres and supporting CO2 reduction goals. Our experienced team has been loading containers to seaworthy standards since 1995 — approximately 5,000 containers per year.
From coils up to 33 tonnes to custom cutting, tilting and labelling, we provide the complete steel logistics chain under one roof. With 35-tonne overhead cranes and 20 forklifts (up to 42 tonnes), we have the capacity for the heaviest steel products in Europe.
