Our Beverwijk warehouse is Schavemaker's logistics hub on the North Sea Canal, featuring a private 180-metre quay. Daily barge sailings operate to and from Rotterdam, Moerdijk, Maastricht, Antwerp and the European hinterland.
The direct water connection enables us to substantially reduce truck movements. The facility is the home base for our steel logistics and various warehousing activities, with room for further expansion. Every container moved by barge instead of road contributes to measurable CO2 reduction.
Warehouse Beverwijk is a key node in our intermodal network, providing seamless transhipment between inland waterway and road transport with barge connections to Rotterdam and beyond.
